Newbie literally means inexperienced newcomer though, and since they are new to TUS it's accurate.

I have never personally heard anyone say noob/newbie means unimaginative or not-so-good-graphics.
Quote from: Komito on June 08, 2021, 07:10 AM
Clumsy and unimaginative, I could understand since a lack of experience can make one appear clumsy and inexperienced, and without experience it's hard to know the possibilities.
But what has graphics got to do with ones abilities lol.
Quote from: Komito on June 08, 2021, 07:10 AMYes, that's what I think.
Still, there's no harm in changing it if a lot of people share this misconception.

I really liked this scheme when I played it years ago, but I remember worm select ending hot seat time. Why would you change it? What are the pros-cons?

It's not a bad idea.
These leagues existed in the first place due to heavy popular demand, and it all started with minimal schemes like BnG/Elite/Roper/Team17 and slowly over time schemes were added one by one after being proven popular enough throughout the main leagues in WA.
Even Free League is pretty dead right now, are there enough people to make all these schemes active and worth it?

We should collect info about what's people's favorite variant for each scheme and make it "official variations" allowed to choose. My proposals:
Hysteria: Play variations such as Selecsteria so there's no need to whine over telecows, as this showed to be a common issue not long ago.
Intermediate: Variant with luck free start positions + much more wide tactics possibilites Freemediate.
Roper: 10 min SD scheme (currently 20).
TTRR: Play with more or less worms + consider milisseconds + bo3. All 3 at once or agree what will be considered.
WxW: Choose wheter to play with oil drums on/off. Or just remove drums already haha.

Collecting a bunch of variations that people enjoy sounds great, within reason of course, we can't have people playing Darts and reporting it as a TTRR.
As long as there is still a mandatory standard when players can't agree which version they want to play. I'd also imagine Playoff matches would use the standard scheme as well yes?
After all, this is an entirely new ERA, so changes can be welcomed with a fresh mindset to suit the current player base.
Quote from: DENnis on May 06, 2021, 04:02 PMYou're welcome! I need to try your schemes later
Thank you very much for your help, Fox! I updated my BungeeSurf- and AFA_Surfshopper-Schemes now!

A possibility for fun schemes to see your weapons inventory the whole time. Would help a lot for SupermarketShopper and other schemes when you have a lot of weapons and don't have enough time to open it with right click + attack. It would be better to see the text after collecting crates longer and don't overwrite the texts too fast. In WxW and other faster games you can't read what was in crate when there comes another text too fast / when the text removes too early.

Wormfinder with colored arrows that show to the leading team (not your own team) to help the KTL rule in Big Shopper maps.
