Yeah things are going good I guess, some things I have I need to sort out, but those are things I won't even let bother me, apart from that everything going good, been living with Kelly (I guess you could say new GF, at least that you know of) for just over a year now, we are moving house again this April cuz this place is just costing too much and ain't worth the money, so kinda looking forward to where I will move to and what the new house will be like, but NOT looking forward to lifting it all haha, lucky my Uncle got a big Transit, couple trips in that sort it out, and some ppl owe me a favour so i'll get them to help out.

Apart from that just been playing WA, working and drinking, oh and I took up Golf and Pool

Talking about moving house reminds me of when I went down to M3ntals not last year but year before, his Brother and his gf were moving house and I practically lifted at least 70% of everything for them haha.

I have seen Smilodon on AG almost everyday for the past 2-3 months, and most of the times it's hosting "bng" lol.

Maybe it's a conflict of timezones, this is why you should try your BEST to arrange games with opponents from the start of events like this, even on the worst timezone difference you should be able to find 1 hour to play 3 games within 31 days.

Group 3 - madog gets advanced, both madog and surgeon are drawn, won and lost the same amount of games, but madog beat surgeon which is the deciding factor.

Group 7 - shasper didn't win any games, Abnaxus and dilligaf both won 1 game against GreeN, this is a really tough call to make choosing between them but I am going to have to let dilligaf through to the next Round, the deciding factor is dilligaf is more active than Abnaxus and I have seen dilligaf making more effort to try and arrange his games.

Group 6 - Obscure and Mablak both 2-0 in sets, winning and losing an equal amount of games, so to decide who is 1st and 2nd (for the pairings of KO), I flipped a coin, Mablak was tails and won so he's 1st.

Twyrfher, you had 1 month (and some hours) to get your games done, Casso must advance because he won more individual games.

Anyone who didn't have "time" to finish their games, may I remind you I sent everyone a PM at the start warning about the Deadlines and to let me know ASAP if you couldn't finish your games, also I posted numerous warnings throughout the Cup reminding people time was running out, remember, you accept these consequences at your own risk.


Good luck in the Knockouts everyone, remember the Deadline is 2 weeks, I suggest tying to organise your games ASAP because if you don't get them done, you won't make it through, the player who has shown proof they have made the effort to play, will be awarded the advancement.

Ok that seems fair enough if it's hard to tell, but what about when it's blindingly obvious?

Like in a Roper a perfect block? Or a sitter than obviously stopped for 1s or longer?

MI, what is the point of continuing a game, if your opponent outright breaks the rules and will not carry out the punishment required for the rule they broke?

It doesn't say in any part of the official rules page you must continue to play if an opponent breaks a rule and then complain in forums afterwards.

If someone is playing a League game, the opponent breaks a rule and does not take the punishment required, the victim should be able to quit that game and refuse to play(void it), or request a rematch.

For example, I play a BnG with someone, the score is around 96hp for me, and 80hp for them, they throw a grenade and it sits, takes 45 damage from me, I have been pushed into a hide where I just can't fire back at them, and they refuse to hit their worm for the same damage, if I carry on and he wins, because he broke the rules and didn't take the punishment, the game will be voided anyway when I complain if he reports because I quit, so I should be able to quit right there and save myself time and keep myself from getting angry at the other guy, as far as I am aware, this has happened a few times on TuS, where players have quit because the other wouldn't stop breaking rules or accept the punishment for a rule they broke, and it was perfectly fine when they complained after the person reported a win cuz they quit.

Recently in a BnG complaint I told a friend of mine if a player breaks rules and won't take the punishment they can quit because the game will be voided, and one of the MODS told me not to give others fake advice and stop backseat moderating lol, he also said something like "you must continue to play and let MODS decide" which isn't even in the legitimate rules anywhere on TuS. I was only trying to help a friend to save him from future frustration by giving him advice that is actually correct..?

So I guess my question is, if someone breaks rules, and does not take the punishent required, are you allowed to quit and the game becomes void, or quit and request a rematch?
