Best of luck to anyone who has it. My symptoms were pretty terrible but for a lot of people it clears up without much of a problem. I wish that all I had was a loss of smell and taste lol...

Finally got to play games at the last moment. At like 3:30 a.m.. after weeks of being on every single day looking for him.

That's not how it works man. You schedule a date and a time with your opponent and then meet on WormNet. Jengu said that he even asked you to pick a date.

Third game he intentionally blocked my worm at the start (claimed it was an accident) and it just pissed me off for the whole match.

lol, you really think he did that intentionally and is lying about it? He clicked on the same spot where your worm was, which is what you do when racing stuff is on. Jengu even said that he thought rs was on. That can happen to anyone...

I didn't bother specifying a specific date and time because I assumed that he would be on at SOME point, plus I started a new job recently and my schedule is chaotic right now. Up until those games I was on a lot - basically every day, at various times throughout the day. I should have seen him at some point regardless of time zone differences. The point behind what I said is that I think the games were garbage and honestly they shouldn't count. By the time we even *started* playing for real I was already pissed off and not in the mood to play due to it being last minute, very late at night, then having to restart twice, then finally starting a game with INCORRECT SETTINGS after getting blocked. (If I specify ZaR RR and the settings are not ZaR RR then is it legit?) I was irate before the start of my first actual turn and by the end of the first match I stopped caring. I reviewed the replay of the first match and I stand corrected. It doesn't look as though he intentionally tried to block me but by that point it really didn't even matter. I was already not in the mood.

Agenda 21.

The coronavirus outbreak was simulated almost a year before it happened with heads of state, military, industry, etc. You can watch the videos on YouTube. I also personally believe that it was taking place a bit before it actually started getting reported in the media because I know a lot of people who got very sick with symptoms exactly like covid19 before it even hit the news. I am 100% convinced in a couple of things:

1. This strain is man-made
2. It was released intentionally to the public
3. It is not as deadly as originally reported but is being used to ruin the economy, making people more reliant upon the government

Obviously covid19 does exist. I had it. All I am saying is that 'they' have known about this event well in advance, which gives me the chills. This was a 'plandemic' without a doubt.

Finally got to play games at the last moment. At like 3:30 a.m.. after weeks of being on every single day looking for him.

First game had to be stopped because he didn't have his res set correctly. Second game he lagged out. Third game he intentionally blocked my worm at the start (claimed it was an accident) and it just pissed me off for the whole match. Fourth game I didn't even try. Glad it's over. I couldn't focus at all and I was pissed off the entire time. Also, batty and rs wasn't even on so the settings were technically incorrect. Eh, f@#! it. I gave up.

The modern gaming industry is shitty. :(

I can understand being addicted to this game if you are maybe 10 years old and just want some simple, mindless fun, but I fail to understand how any adult could derive more than a few days of entertainment from it. A week, tops. If the number of minigames and races was tripled or quadrupled then it would be worth picking up (especially if they added some sort of basic fighting mechanics), but in its current state it is far too shallow of a game. As I said, you can experience literally everything the game has to offer in a day or two and the worst part is that winning or losing has less to do with personal skill and more to do with luck.

I'm personally eagerly looking forward to the new Gran Turismo title when the PS5 launches.

This game caught my eye and I finally had the chance to play it at a friend's house a few days ago.

My thoughts on it are that it is a fun game but it gets boring very quickly. I'd call this game a 'rental' title, although video game rentals are kind of a thing of the past. The problem with the game is that there's so few types of courses / minigames that it gets stale remarkably fast. Also, random luck has a LOT to do with it. On 'race' types of courses, if you start in the front you have a much better chance of qualifying or even winning than if you start in the back, and that's completely random. Also, the controls leave a lot to be desired. You basically just run and steer 90% of the time. You can jump, but the jump mechanics aren't very satisfying and there's this annoying little delay between pushing the button and actually jumping. Aside from that all you can really do in the game is dive forward, which is sometimes useful, and you can also press a shoulder button to grab onto someone, or an object. You can't 'attack' anyone per se, and in many of the game modes it's not worth messing around with anyone else anyway.

Is it initially fun? Yes. Is the art style cool? Yes. Is the game active? Yes. The sound department is lacking though. The music is boring and unremarkable and the sound effects are forgettable and bland. Also, there's really no 'end game' to it at all. If you win a certain amount of times you can get enough crowns to unlock special outfits but who cares lol. I definitely wouldn't pay full price for it. Some people might have a blast playing it but I know that for me I'd get super bored after a week. You can pretty much experience all the game has to offer in 1-2 days.

I am having a very hard time finding Jengu online. I know that we're on basically opposite schedules, which makes it hard. I'd like to get these games done but I haven't seen him online at all and I've been fairly active recently.

Someone should snag the Worms Revolution soundtrack as well. Probably the best background music of all of the Worms titles IMO.

update:

I've done a lot more testing and I've all but confirmed that my video card is failing. It's showing issues in other games now and I'm getting all around crap performance when it comes to anything that uses it, as well as various glitches and graphical artifacts. I could buy another video card for my laptop but I think I'll just hold off and save up cash for a new desktop build.

I have done everything that I can think of to get this to work.

-I've checked everything in the NVIDIA control panel.
-I've tried running the game with onboard graphics as well as my dedicated video card.
-I've checked that Windows10 is up to date.
-I've checked that all of my drivers are up to date.
-I've experimented with every possible combination of settings in WA, as well as various resolutions.

No matter what, I have visual issues. At best it looks like a watery, translucent horizontal bar that goes all the way across my screen and kinda travels up and down, making terrain kinda wiggly. At worst I get constant micro-lags and the terrain is tearing so bad that it looks like it's glitching out.

Prior to re-installing Windows10, WA was working just fine for me. 1080p, version 3.8. I haven't changed anything in my setup at all. This is extremely confusing. I am not having issues with any other applications... just WA. In the past all I had to do was turn on vsync and everything was cool. Now it's like vsync does nothing at all.

Prior to my hard drive crash I was using d3d9 with both vsyncs enabled and I had zero issues. No latency that I was aware of, and perfect smoothness. Now the screen tearing is so so bad that it looks like a stripe of water moving up and down my screen, distorting stuff it touches. It kinda makes the terrain look like PS1 jumping/flickering textures.

I have no idea what the refresh rate is on the TV. I don't really care too much because these days I don't do much gaming, and most of the gaming I DO partake in is fairly slow paced and not graphically intensive. I just use HDMI to connect to my TV because a 42" screen is a hell of a lot easier on my eyes than a 17" laptop screen. I haven't had any issues with latency until the update. Now I have other issues but I think it's unrelated to all of this.

Up until yesterday my game was working fine.

Last night I had a SSD die on me. I had 3 of them in a RAID 0 array so I basically lost all of my data that wasn't on a mechanical drive. :(

I pinpointed which SSD was dead and reformatted with a fresh install of Win10. I got my system fully updated and reinstalled Steam. Now when I try to run W:A I get major screen tearing and some micro-lags no matter what graphics settings I use. V-sync on, v-sync off... assisted v-sync, Direct 7, 8, 9, GL, etc etc. I have the same issue no matter what.

Any ideas?

Without v-sync enabled I get horrible screen lag. I think that this is because I use a 1080p television as a monitor connected to my laptop via HDMI. I've always had v-sync enabled before and it never gave me issues. All I know is that ever since the update, roping has felt weird. I'm falling a lot more than I normally do and I can't scroll worth a crap. Worms feel 'heavier' somehow too. The game does look smoother overall animation-wise but I guess I'm just having trouble adapting to the update. I'm struggling!

I am trying out the new rope now and it might be my imagination but it feels like latency is worse now than it was before. The animations themselves look smoother but I noticed that I am falling a lot more than usual.
