Tech Support / Re: LAG PROBLEMS

These are my settings... never in my life have I gotten any screenlags in worms
those ones in the "palette fix" section (there, they are all checked).
I don't recommend the two first checkboxes in the Palette Fix, because if you don't run Project X, they will mess the colors once you maximize under Windows 7 during the match (it isn't really "Frontend" palette fix only), and you will have to press Shift+Pause. Only enable two last parameters of "Palette fix". Also, do not use wkcolorfix, it is buggy and messes colors in frontend, even with any fixes

sorry, i just meant the next beta. I don't know where the numbers arrived from in my head :-[
I've had talks with Deadcode and he said that he already implemented RubberWorm into WA (without graphical interface yet), except black hole and the Kawoosh's new features. A few days later, we've brought him the source code of rubber worm. He didn't look at it yet, but he will as soon as possible.
Sorry

Right click on your WA.exe > Properties > Compatibilty > Disable Visual Theme + Disable Desktop Composition + Disable The Display High Resolution.

Don't know if it's the good names, but you might understand after seeing those checkboxes.

I just played with them until something worked, and it finally did.
So let us know if it also works for you.

I don't have the "disable the display high resolution" option but I will try the others.
here it's like "Use 640x480 resolution", and there's also "Disable the screen scaling on high resolution".
PS: Warning, there can be issues with creating/modifying a team when certain compatibility options are active.

Free league is optional and it differs a lot than classics
ok

Steps, its not like every player wants secondary programs/modules to play the league, im guessing a lot of people would be pissed if they had to, including me, so slow down please with all those PX/Rubber for everyone. Also reaim isnt the problem.
but it's officially included in the upcoming beta update :P so it's not an external tool anymore
PS: and you do say, but Free league includes Kaos as well. ;)

What do you think about /reaim feature in RubberWorm? It resets aim every turn. Since everyone who plays classic/free league has rubberworm installed now, that shouldn't make a problem. And that would be more fair I think (also to note that RubberWorm is already included in the upcoming beta update).

Who is that guy? Do you know him?
Today I joined his game, he started insulting me, kicking and said that a very long time ago I did something offensive to him >:( wtf.
I don't ever remember playing with him even once, nor offending him :o That's irritating.
If you know him, please ask why does he do that and who he is. And link him to this thread please.
Since now, I will always be strictly chasing anyone who wasted my spare time for such a senseless dispute, until I get a clear reason.
Thanks

PS: I've managed to create a hall of shame list. I hope you won't be there :)

disabling vertical sync can make the irritating texture flickerings when playing on a big map. this doesn't happen everywhere, but it can.
also, VSync can be turned off in PX.
