I honestly wonder if Deadcode, and Team17 or other collaborated developers actually takes any of these Ideas seriously Into account. I wonder if any actually visits these forums and think to themselves '''Wow some of these Ideas are actual pretty cool! Why haven't I thought of this? I really should try make some of these Ideas realized''.

Although an counterargument could be made ''They already thought the most of this, but they are too busy, OR/and that Team17 won't sanction most of these Ideas and as a result they lack the motivation to make any of these Idea realized''-.

Team17 could learn a lot by reading a thread like this though.

Indeed, but I would like to see such authentication would take a step further by forcing exact same nickname out of WormNET.

But ultimately as MonkeyIsland proposes, It does seem to suggest It is up to Team17.

It Is crucial to find best possible hide from the red lines Indeed. There can be red lines in future maps on the ground too, and that can force the player to attack from ground, leaving them with no retreat from rope.
It is true that I and others ran out of time during our turn but It Is Important to remember that It does depend on max complexity, crate spawns, and skills.

Ah yes well this scheme borrows Ideas from Board Shopper, and so on. I am sure other schemes can be made with similar condition lines.  ;) And therefore Condition ZaR will be made :o

I was ''Not'' Inspired by anyone here. I was simply reminded, and motivated by you and the scheme topic. But then again my Inspiration could had been rekindled so thank you.

Earlier I came out and presented my Idea because of fear of accusation of plagiarized scheme. My original scheme Idea had a rule that states ''Attack from weapon symbol''.- This could be coincidence since I was surprised to see SIBASA's Spawn For Weapons. It looked like Board Shopper, and I had to make sure of the rules were not the same. Still, it seems to share similarities, and I have NO experience to Walk For Weapons anyway. I just think of something and I make it.

I also confess I never was properly motivated to carry out a proper map for my own Idea, but I seized the moment when I saw SIBASA's map, and hence we are here now. I'd like to see what you could offer of maps if you choose to pursue it.

I thought the friction could be a nice touch so you wouldn't slide as easily when you try to be quick. I have no Issue to reduce it, I would like this scheme to be perfect and for everyone. So I am happy to take feedback into consideration

As far as I understand, WormNET has NO username database, and therefore TUS could behave as a surrogate for this purpose. TUS to my knowledge stores maps for HB to handle. A bot to do this with TUS memberlist shouldn't be so hard? But if this is Impossible, and requires legal sanction by Team17, It would make more sense. I will wait for clarity then.

If someone changes nickname close to league players e.g. if username is "LeaguePlayer" and someone try to use "LeeeaguePlayer" or something close like "LeaguePlayer1", it should convert back to real name aka "LeaguePlayer" and show the password option as well. (Will require strong algorithm)

Yes, you were acting very strange lately, to say the least. Or at least your nickname.
Without finger pointing, I am fairly certain I know the culprit behind the theft of my Identity. This Individual(s), have been without rest relentlessly damaging my name, and perhaps you been unfortunate to encounter the fake Kradie. This is why I found you also very strange on our last chats.

I ask people to confirm my Identity on TUS or discord if they are suspicious.

I would like to propose a joint effort between TUS and WormNET, where a system is made to validate username Integrity, and prevent Identity theft and abuse. I am already experiencing the weight of this and I know that others may have experienced the same.

Keep in mind I am no expert in the fields of programming and networking. But I came up with the Idea when I attempted to use secure login with Great Snooper.

When you attempt secure login with a snooper, it uses TUS username. Unfortunately to my knowledge, you cannot access WormNET if someone else uses the name through ordinary login, but I thought otherwise. I thought secure login would force the other user off, and that's what I want but did not get. So here I am proposing the Idea to force users off of WormNET by using secure login.

I even expanded the Idea to have a BOT on WormNET that would actively cross check & scan TUS member list and WormNET logins. So for example: A random person wishes to use the name TheWalreus, this person would be prompted with a message that this name is already taken, and that this person would need to go to TUS. Obviously this method is not theft proof but it helps legitimize the Integrity of the user.

The user would have a couple of options on TUS to switch on and off:

Enable/Disable Secure Login.
Use only TUS to login on WormNET (Browser must be open for IP verification).
Login regularly on WormNET, and provide password to BOT in 10 seconds after login.

Obviously there could be better, refined, or more or less options, but these are just some.

But what does this mean for people who doesn't care and just wants to play? Go on as usual and play the game.

Since TUS and WormNET's HostingBuddy share schemes and maps, I don't think this could be a problem?

Thoughts? Can this be done?

I have discovered a flaw with the snooper in regards to Ignoring. Each time on reentry in channel AG, the setting ''Show banned users in user list'' reverts back to default EVEN if the checkbox is not checked. It needs to be rechecked, and this goes to ''Show messages of banned users in channel''.

It still works but it is cumbersome.

Thought Tomi would like to know....
