So..... Let me get this straight.... If crate lands on a weapon sprite e.g ''Bazooka''. That worm must use bazooka?

Believe it or not, I was working on something similar offline but I never motivated myself to fulfill it. The scheme would be called Board Shopper. The crate spawn and drop would determine what weapon you could use and where you must use it. For example: If the crate landed on grenade sprite/name, you have to attack from that position.

Well I thought I'd share my Idea In case of finger pointing...

I was just surprised that this got made :)

I think your idea would fit better on a Shopper scheme. As you are saying, it looks like a Walk for Weapons where you cannot choose your weapon. You are forced to use the determined weapon and that would limit the game even more. You'd use air strike when the opponent is protected under the terrain. As a Shopper scheme, though you could force the player to collect the crate and attack from that place, but that would require very special map, with tested zones for each weapon, attacking easily any place on the map from that area.

That's a public new idea now.
I have a map saved in PSD format, but I never as I said continued the ambition. I chose to share my I publicly just In case someone would suggest plagiarism. I have no problem that the new Idea is public now. Anyone is free to pursue it if they want.

Yeah, a special map is required. Imo such map should allow some space to move where the select weapon is marked, like a tile platform. And the map should not be too complex too.

zook should be power 6 if you don't want any damage... i think
It works without that.

The scheme has been updated: Bazooka doesn't damage worms anymore.

Miss old ZaR RR? Maybe that version can be the Pro version?  ;)

I would also like to see this Implemented in-game too If possible.

This would be awesome if you did that Deadcode! Thank you  :)

Maybe also show rope shots while using rope.

QuoteHi FoxHound and TMC  ;)
oh hi

maybe a suggestion - lower gravity to extend the time crates will be on chutes?
That would make the scheme easier, and the crates slower crate drop between turns and at end of game.

If anyone support the Idea It can happen.

Schemes / Collect Schemes

So I am kind of liking these collect schemes. I find them fun and engaging, and somewhat balanced? Least balanced is Chaos Collect though.

You can Inspect the schemes here and cast your votes on the scheme you find most Interesting.

I kind of like this scheme. I read the scheme description and yet I found it a bit perplexing but still I had decent amount of fun. I loved the Idea to traverse through the land with the rope, that part kind of felt realistic to me heh. Because of my experience I may feel Inspired to make my own scheme, perhaps for ZaR. I hope none here will see this as theft... Amazing I have to say this.

I am available most of the weekend. Find me on discord or snooper.

And now seriously: such modules do not bring anything significant to actual gameplay, target a very small niche, are very polarizing and to be honest - boring as hell to implement. Someone said I should stick to my "big" modules and I agree with that. If there is a significant need for such functionality - request it from Deadcode to be added as a scheme option in future update.

This thread has been around for a while now and received little replies, as a result this could Indicate that there is low Interest for such tool.

But my argument is that Worms Armageddon is at least 50% roping. I believe such module would be beneficial for the whole of WA community. Why? Look to my own two schemes Chaos Collect, and Super Collect. These schemes requires the use of the crate counter. Imagine what schemes rope shot counter could make, and the types of challenges people could make with it. Perhaps even beginners could find it useful.

I can Imagine myself in a Big Rope Race, and I would say after my turn ''Wow, 50 rope shots!''. That could perhaps register curiosity among other players and they could ask how I know that, and this is where I would reply ''It's a nifty little module where counts your rope shots''. I guess that alone could spark a broader appeal for the module. People could be more Inclined to get it, especially if there are new schemes made for it.

But If you are still against the Idea, I will ask someone else.
Start the development on the module now, Kradie.  You are a talented creator of schemes, now it's time for the natural transition into modules.
Heh. I do appreciate those kind words from you. But I know nothing of programmering because it never was an Interest of mine.
