In this specific case the cheating topic, I do not think I am dividing the community, and here is why.

The poll
The result speaks for itself, overwhelmingly number of people are against cheating in an online multiple game. Moral ambiguity is no longer shrouded in doubt. Though I do believe personally, that most people know very well deep down, that cheating was and is bad anyway.

Royal Ropers (RR). This community was made NOT to chastise and ostracize people who cheats with rope aid. It was made to highlight legit roping, without the use and glorification of rope aid. In addition to that, the recent buzz about rope scripts here on WA, and TUS, acted as a catalyst for RR creation.

Now to another thing..

Buy a new keyboard, or use worn down old keyboard, or use a broken one? I am not going to pretend that most people are sufficient with cash that they can buy expensive keyboards. If you want quality both in build and performance, you can always add more money into that. But it's not for everybody because their economic isn't that strong. Some people might not care for expensive keyboard, and rightfully so because their interest does not reside in such tech. You can easily buy a reasonable gaming keyboard for 10-60 euros Instead of having to rely on cheats.

If a person have enough passion for something, then there's no shame to buy something you can be proud of.

Look to football, if you like playing this sport, then it stands to reason you would buy shoes for best performance within your budget. Maybe you would even support your favorite football club as well.

In general: Why engage in something in that you genuinely love in a unethical fashion rather to buy something within your budget? If somebody is good at something, they have a responsibility to appear legit. It's good people are opening up here and there about their reliance on cheat. But it's not so ok to brush it under the rug because of a faulty key(s) on a kb..

Some months back I roped poorly because of keyboard. I had a Corsair K70 Pro and I was very happy with it. I had no reason to swap it out. But I had no other option because the K70 became partly defected and it didn't give me a good experience on Worms Armageddon. Some of you might think that's outrageous and crazy, but in reality it isn't because I love the game. So changing a keyboard, It's basically swapping out old shoes, keeper gloves, and baseball bat. All in the name for better time. Was it worth it? For me it was, absolutely. I paid approximately 120 bucks for this keyboard. It's also good with refresh as well.

With a new keyboard ''Razer Huntsman V2 Analog'' I have not been able to replicate super fast taps. This is a keyboard that feature rapid trigger. This feature is not built into the keyboard, so you can't activate that on a onboard switch if you don't have a newer version ''Razer Huntsman v3 pro''. To activate rapid trigger, you would need to download Razer's Synapse Software so you can activate that feature from there. This is something I have done but has it yielded any positive results?

Let's start without: Indeed I have noticed some performance Increase in terms of speed and taps, but nothing to dramatic. When I activate rapid trigger, my performance Increased, but not too much. The rapid trigger actuation point is lowered to lowest possible setting 0.1mm. I noticed I had more control, keys became more sensitive, it was more easier to maneuver across the maps, and in some cases I would perform finger rolling. But the finger rolling and tapping were never consistent on every turns, swings and through horizontal tunnels.

In the end, it boils down to Individual person, I think. In my case, as I stated earlier in this topic, it might just be my limit that is reached. I have Included replay.

Quote from: TheKomodo on July 10, 2025, 07:13 PMI've played ONE game in the past sort of 3 months. It was a Big RR with Oli, we tried to do a BnG after, Oli was busy so couldn't play, someone else joined. I took one shot which was a 4s LG floorbank, hit the guy, and the guy immediately quit. So that doesn't count.

I've randomly went online about 20-30 times during that time and tried hosting a Big RR or BnG. Either nobody has joined, or they joined then left the lobby after about 5 seconds.

I've just gave up, nobody is interested in the schemes I enjoy anymore and genuinely feel like we've hit the lowest point of activity the game has ever seen.

In my opinion nothing anyone play anymore is even challenging or interesting enough for me.

You've got a chance to find games fairly quickly if you like Kaos, Intermediate or playing TUS against blitzed.

Long story short, this game is pretty boring for a lot of people now.

Sorry to hear that. I find my experience opposite to you.

Then again, I never see you online anymore, it was like months ago. You hosted tons of BIG RR. I thought that was great for activity. We need more people like that.

Great. I have updated the description now.

Ldet added. Why? People at time either by accident or not, place their worm with teleport too high that it ends their turn.

Chicken, WA has always been active regardless lack of secure logins and absence of ranks. Nobody today talks about those two things on Worms, and if they do its rare, normally on TUS forums. Hosting has always been a major difficult obstacle, but yet, people have found a way. We have even survived without new update for a decade and activity has always been more or less like now, mins the competitive side of things.

WA is community sustained and thrives of the kindness and passion of others. If you want to make league active, look forward, and form new connections.

To hope for old school people to return is a passing daydream. If a person has enough passion for a game they would continue to play now and then without excuse that league is not enough active.

A new modern TUS would entice old and new people.

TUS Discussion / Re: Farewell, TUS singles

If people like Rocket, and Chicken, wouldn't have bowed out, the league could had been a little more active. Who knows how many have left like this. All these people who bowed out, maybe they should band together and make league activity great again. Putting the band back together 8)

Wormkit Modules / Re: wkshowkits
July 05, 2025, 12:29 PM
Nobody has anything to say? If there is a reason for lack of respond then perhaps I missed something? Either way, I think it would be nice module to have, let alone a feature built into the game. At least Kaleu likes the Idea :)

Will there be a cup of this scheme?

Quote from: Wolfgang on June 27, 2025, 04:14 PMMaybe TuS can have some "random/fun games report system" just to show to the community the Game still have some life and have players enjoying the Game, dunno xD it will work for people who don't play league games for points/ranks
Funner League? Love it. Or a place that you report good games overall. You would need consent of the other player(s) Imo.

Quotewell the scheme has been completely re-calibrated. all the maps have been moved up by 1200-1300px so you can start racing now from the start and not having to use SD timer 1s turns to insta zook the walls because now SD timer goes off at start. other thing is each map is calibrated for a particular amount of players. the pixel rise has been changed too according to that.

In general, the more confusing a scheme become, the less traction it could get by the public. Your post helped me remind me that the configuration of this scheme was quite cumbersome. It was one of the reasons why I chose to abandon it after a few weeks/months.

Quotethat's why i gave original credit to pavle and zippo bcos yes those years ago when they were making schemes left and right i didnt know you were involved too. I don't mind giving you credit too if you really were involved in the development back then but this is a new scheme new maps.
Schemes were Indeed made left and right, Pavle would often come to me see if I had something new cooking. I remember playing and testing big flood race with pavle and zippo. Zippo was very keen on that mode, heck I think he even was the mastermind behind it.  8)

The reason why I made these posts here and now, was because I was pleasantly surprised that this scheme was still around. Some fond memories arose within. I was a little disappointed I wasn't mentioned though. :(  Some acknowledgement would had been nice, considering other people were mentioned regardless if there was a huge update. :)

Ultimately I am happy to see that Billy and You have been working hard on this new iteration of the scheme. Giving it the deserved tweaks and updates. Let's hope that it catches people's attention. It would be cool to see this in a cup too. :)

I remember designing this scheme together with Zippo and PavlePavle 5-6 years ago. It was very Intense scheme, but I never pursued it because it felt extremely unbalanced at the time.

On browsing for old files, I find this map. The photoshop file is named ''Coop Race''. I confess, I forgot the the concept of this scheme. Perhaps it Involved 2v2, one team blows up a wall, other one continues the race. It was at this time in WA there were a lot of concept schemes being tested.

I will try to find replay at some point.

But it's great to see an old scheme resurface and gets its deserved attention. :)

Quote from: Wolfgang on June 26, 2025, 07:18 PMi got kinda bored, but i still play some randoms games on ag (like shopper, intermediates, ropers with dibz, funners with peja, corujao, etc) but theres a lot of trolls who insult you during the game for no reason

thats why even funners with random people it start to get me bored xD
This is a sign of maturity.

For me the game's activity has remained more or less the same as funner activities goes.

Competitive side of things: It's basically blitzed vs everyone. This is something Kaleu said some days ago, which is true.

Pure guess: The game itself may seem more dead to people who are into competitive than funners.
